Question whats in the bed

How much is too much? Load of brick? Load of 4-wheelers?

08 3500 4x4 6 speed. Added a flat bed to haul the toys. Black Max and 5in complete exhaust. More to come soon. Just got to figure out which direction to take the truck.

2500# of sand once, other 2000# loads of landscaping materials (short slow trips so I wasn't worried about it) - didn't squat the truck much at all.

Son-in-law borrowed it once and loaded it "to the rails" with landscaping rocks - I had to explain to him the difference between VOLUME full load and WEIGHT full load ... but he said it didn't squat too bad then, either!

I had 3850lbs of rock in my bed and really couldn't tell it was overloaded! No wonder the guy in the frontloader stopped dumping and I had to tell him to add more. Drove like a Caddilac.

Carried 2.7 tons of steel few times with the RAM-2500. Without Exhaust brake, kind of hard on the brake shoes.
The RAM-3500 had a load of 50 bags of 80 lbs cements, it drove so smooth and nice, if it was not because of fuel consumption, I would have left in there!
