The more we complain about the weather, the worse it gets. Seems that way anyhow. Need to stop focusing on the peaks and focus on the middles, however short they may be.
They haven't pulled the plug yet so I thought I'd sneak in here and say BOO. My yellow jacket trap seems to be working, but needs to work better.

Yellow jacket trap? Does it work for red wasps?
Sunny mid 90's until the storms came through around 3pm.
Hauled dirt & rock....helped scrub the stinky stuff.

Good morning DR, up at going way early and feeling pretty good for a change. Lots to do even though one of the big projects went elsewhere...….Citation 560 with reverser issues is the job for the day. Right front brake caliper dragging on the truck, fresh calipers, rotors and pads.....changing the rubber flex line tonight. Maybe.

Sunny 80's today.
Hauled dirt & rock to the muddy dumpsite
Had a coupla broken short cb antennas so I trimmed them up, drilled out the bases, stuck the copper wire in then out the little side hole, glued the stem and stuck in the bases. I tig welded the copper leads to the brass bases w/silicon bronze rod....a coupls zaps and it's done, lots easier than messing with solder.

Good morning DR, mid 60s to mid 80s....feels like low 90s. For some odd reason I seem to be doing LOTS of A/C work this time of year.....Yeah, odd isn't it

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM...Yellow jacket traps only work for yellow jacket. The only other thing I have seen in ours is an occasional fly, and a spider.

Good Morning DieselRam!!
68 this morning said the truck, after 74 yesterday, and a heat index of 116 on Tuesday!!
That was insane!! We had the highest heat alert in the country!
I waited till 6pm tuesday to deliver a 12x24 hoping it would be a little cooler.
When I got done I was muddy all over and my boots were squishy.
Ground was dry, and it hadn't rained...
Threats of rain that never happened yesterday convinced me to stay close to home & run some errands.
Much drier air today, almost fall like, almost..
There's some incredible discounts on new GMC trucks right now!!
Dive training this morning and break team meeting this afternoon .

Sunny 90F today.
Hauled more dirt and rock. The top radiator hose started leaking at the gooseneck on the KW.
Cut the bad part off and re-clamped, should hold until a new non-blue silicone hose is acquired.
