What a short week. Everything that could go wrong is. Because the weather is bad back east, the boss is being an extra jerk, company computer is messed up, and the company phone is really mess up. Speaking of jerks, he already bought my plane tickets back to Sheboygan next month. Wednesday morning it started raining that then turned to snow, a lot of wet heavy snow. 6"+ worth. On the way home the alternator quit on the 92. Driving home in a blizzard, in the dark, only on battery power. I turned off or down everything electrical that wasn't mandatory. It was hard keeping the windshield clear. Of course everyone was creeping along making things worse. Once the traffic cleared I was able to go fast enough for the wind to keep the windshield clear and turn off the wipers. Yesterday morning the 92 was an ice cube, couldn't drive it if I wanted to. Fortunately, the 01 was safe and sound under a pile of snow. Took the wife an hour to dig it out for me. The temperatures have slid back into the mid teens, I hope we don't see any more of that below zero stuff.

Freezing rain this morning that sent me sliding thru a stop sign, later warmed up and raining. Shovelled the other half of the garage roof off, a lot heavier with the rain. Was still 2ft of snow on it.

Flu has missed me so far this year, but I did get the flu shot this year...first time I've had it. Seems to be working, as everyone at work has it.
Hope you recover quickly Jet, I'd bypass the Dr, and drugstore and just hit the liquor store, and get some chicken noodle soup in ya.
Raining out, rain predicted for the next week, snow will be melting fast.

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM.....It's with heavy heart I have to report it's 43f here with sun on the way. Haven't got the flu either, but keep in mind the vaccine this doesn't include the main strain that is hitting hard. I'm with Nigel, just hit the liquor store.

Dropping back into the single digits overnight and the low teens during the day. The landlord plowed the snow off the driveway leaving the ice. Hope he gets stuck.
