They "salt" the roads up here too. We just run them through the car wash on a regular basis. My 92 has no rust, nor does my 01.

What's available (and affordable) in the line of crank position sensors? Mine is not liking the cold. Doesn't work at first, then it does.

There is also the question of whether I could actually get to a car wash. That D350 gets stuck on level ground in a half inch of snow, being a 2WD and automatic.

The 92. It only fails after it has cold soaked below zero for a couple days. Then fails only for about a minute, then works normally. If it only sits overnight below zero between runs, it's fine.

The weather has warmed up considerably. Started getting a random "run rough" after the first start of the morning. Starts and runs fine, then may or may not start running rough. It smooths out as it runs a little longer. Got some injector cleaner for the next fill up. Once things get back to normal and the weather improves, I have another set of injectors to put in it.

Changed the fuel filter at the last oil change. I have a bottle of Power Service Diesel Kleen to throw in at the next fill up. Also have some MMO for the crank case in case I am having a valve or lifter issue.
