Good Morning DieselRam!!!
Starting the day off at 73 and HUMID..... 90 something later and feeling like 100+.
Don't want to wish life away, but 'come on September'!!
Ribs and chicken were good from the smoker. Got leftovers but Ralph is coming tomorrow to help me for the week so they won't last long.
Ended up sitting at the house last 2 days, mowing grass, a little gardening, cooking, taking a break.
That wind therapy thing keeps calling. Gotta figure out why the triumph wants to go left.
Maybe new tires...
Kinda wanted to go see some fireworks, but knew I wouldn't get to sit still again until next Sunday so took advantage of it.
Heard a bunch go off Thursday night in the city, couldn't see much of them.

Too hot and too dry. Fires all over the state. Air quality is in the unhealthy range due to the smoke. Can't see the mountains. Evacuation alerts for just north of me. Got the utility trailer loaded and hook to the truck just in case we need to bug out.
I pulled the short straw and had to work the 4th. It was a slow day with few flights. Surfed the web and listen to my mushroom music. Nice gig for double time and a half.

Wow! Alaska is on fire! Is it normal for Alaska to have droughts....or Tennessee to have a monsoon season?

Sunny 90's today. The little "bell housing" that mates the PTO to the hoist pump had a dripping leak. Got filthy checking it out last night and filthy tightening 4 little 1/4" Allen head bolts inside the little "bell housing" early this morning, just a slight wet spot now that I'll re-do when the weather cools off. It was that or drive the Western Star, with it's deafening exhaust. The KW won out.
