Replaced governor and transducer and still no go. So that wasnt the issue. I imagine its a valve getting stuck in valve body. That would be my guess. What i do notice is the fluid has alot of gold/brass colored dust in it. Almost looks like red pearl paint. This could be sticking the valves im sure. Is this normal for break in to see this in fluid?

No has the borge warner upgraded solenoid. I just replaced it. It had the bw to start with. Its in the vb. Do you know were 1-2 2-3 shift valves are located? I know spool valve and all those are on the upper portion of vb. I pulled apart valves to the right of the tcc/od solenoids if looking from passenger side under truck. Has a plate with 3 screws. 2 valves in there. Found one stuck. Freed up and pulled out and cleaned everything up. But not sure these are the 1-2 or 2-3 shift valves. U have any ideas on were they are located?

If your you to keep going at this alone. Get a ATSG transmission rebuild book. It will give you some foundation to work from. It will also give you diagrams for the valvebody.

Yea im with ya. Ive rebuilt them before but just the standard clutches and steels and picked valves and reassembled for people in a pinch. I know the problem just need to strip valve body and clean out. Maybe polish a few bores n call it a day. At thid point im having it towed to him. Im worried at this point and the money i spent to go 6 miles. If he does any shady type run around. I could get violent lol
