Good morning DR, nine down and three to go.....time is fun when you're having flies......Summer hanging on tight like the stalker from college. Won't be long now, leaves are turning and fall is upon us. Supposed to be in the 90s again today, gonna be missing this in a few weeks.

47 windy and rainy. Reports of the first snow by this weekend still hold. Got the snow tires on the old ladies Subaru yesterday, getting new tires for the Aspen today. Holding off on the trucks until winter gets a firm grip. I also need to set up the timer and put out the power cord.

Bought a 100+ year old secretaries desk to restore. Not in too bad of shape. Won't take me long to fix it. Right now my desk is 2 stacked bin boxes topped with one of the wife's cutting boards.

Sunny and 97F today, I'm sure I won't miss that.
Hauled gravel from the rockyard and dirt&rock to the dirt dump.
Putting stinky sulfur water on my $24 grass.

Good Morning DieselRam...
Big Horn? Dually? 4x4 possibly??

Well, October... All time record high for the month of 99 yesterday, could be about the same today. We had NO rainfall last month, Zero!! At least that does mean less humid.
Drying prairie ground put enough stress on my plumbing to split a sanitary "T" right down the middle where the drain line exits from under the house!!

City council meeting last night, FD got pooped on again.
Time to kick little!

Was up in Tennessee on Monday...western Tennessee...Munford, 200 miles from the house.
One of them emergency deliveries that slipped thru the cracks.

Sunny 99F today and blew away the previous record of 91F.....what joy!
Got through the day with the clutch pedal at the top on the KW....used it very little and started off in "blue button" low range so no slipping. The shop mechanic got under the truck to adjust it before I did and told me to "push yer clutch pedal down and hold it", which I did and 2 minutes later it was done and I wasn't bleeding or hurt anywhere. He used my long handled 3/8ths ratchet so I ordered one for him this afternoon.

Might have bitten if it had been a SRW.....Better get moving, up early and don't want to waste the morning away
