This is the pits Herb, My 6.7 is doing great. But, it only has about 11,000 miles. Probably half of that is with my 5've attached. Hope mine doesn't develope these problems.

My 07.5 has suffered with poor mileage for ever. My towing has been about 9.5. I did the smarty thing 2 weeks ago and the mileage on overhead has for sure gone up. I will tow heavy in a while and that will be the test. We did the turbo clean several months ago. I am keeping all the factory gizmos for clean air. I don't want to put it all back on and we are headed that way.

And this is "progress"????!!!! You've got to burn more fuel for cleaner air, but you've got to add all this other BS on top of that so that you don't add too much "greenhouse gasses" to the atmosphere. Give me a break. Where are the "bean counters" that do "cost/benefit" analysis for the EPA?????? I'm keeping my 04.5 as long as she'll run!!!!

If it's woth anything...
Got mine June 1st. Just turned 8400 miles. Took a road trip to FL and back twice now (Pittsburgh to West Palm Beach and Ft Myers, Running through the WV mountains). Getting (hand calculated) 20mpg with the cruise set at 75, and get this the computer says 19mpg. Had one CEL when the alarm got confused by a RFID device I had in the cab. Then there was the factory dent. But that's a different story.

Crossing my fingers.

Now I have problems with something electrical with turn signals, low and high beam and wipers. Pulled out of driveway this morning went for high beam and they would not stay on, Ok. Got down to the stop sign and turned my left turn signal on and the right one is blinking. With all this happening, wipers only will delay that's it. Then 5 mins later all is fine. It did this once before, I told the dealer and he looked at me like I was crazy.
