What 84? I have not gotten 1, still waiting for the flash notice everyone was talking about. I was one of the first to order a new 6.7 in mid 06, mine is cab/chassis if that makes a difference?
It's not just the service people that are uninformed, it's the entire dealership (in many cases, not all).

I have had my 2007 2500 4x4 auto for 6 weeks. Been at a dealer 4 times so far. Not so good. Already put 4500 miles on it. Before I even got it home for the first time, (850 miles from the dealership to my home...but saved $6k) the airbag light came on. Had to take it in...it was the seatbelt pretensioner. They did not have the part...had to take it back in a week later. Then i got the recall notice for the emissions software update...had to go back in for that. Last week the check engine light came on...had to go back in. Shop said it was giving a code for a bad tstat/sensor but could not find any problem with anything. They reset the light and sent me on my way.

I loved my 94 i just got rid of with 218K....put 125k miles on it in 3.5 years. The new truck looks great, goes like hell, sucks down the fuel, and seems to keep me in the dealership on a regular basis. Not so sure that this is off to a good start.

By the way, anyone know if there is a way to display the engine hours on the 6.7's? I know i could on the 2003 but dont remember how to do it?

Thanks

I like my 5.9L!
To pull your hours: Turn the key on, don't start. With the odometer displayed (If the trip is displayed, push the button to change to odometer and release), push and hold the trip button for a few seconds until you see the display change to hours. Once the hours are displayed you may release the button and the hours will be displayed for about 20 seconds or until you start the engine.
Happy displaying / recording!

I'm thinking about taking a chance on a new 08 Mega w/ an auto trans. I can't deal with the shifting anymore with this 6-speed G56 ever since I put the South Bend clutch in. Anybody want to buy a nice 07 5.9 w/ 31000 miles?

Question Recall list

I used to know this, but it's been a while.
Where can I go online to find a list of recalls?
I'm picking up an '09 this week, and need educated. Will these recalls already be taken care of if the truck is on the lot, or do they try to catch up with me after the purchase?

thanks

Damn global warming BS. It sure has created so mauch headache for everyone, and too much money for the IDIOT Al Gore.

I know few other guys who have done what I have done to their 6.7 (decomissioned all the environmental BS). The truck is running great. Thanks God for that. And thanks to Mads Electronics for their version 6.7MI Smarty. Without Smarty this would not been possible to have a truck that is cosmetically is politically correct!!

I have no codes, no lights, and the power and fuel consumption is very impressive.
