Good Morning DieselRam!!!
60 yesterday morning, 30 this morning. and 10 mph winds. Might make it to 40 for a minute.
1.5 inches of rain yesterday before the clouds left, about an hour of sunny skies, then the wind picked up and the temps dove.
There was a rumor of some rebel snow flakes but I didn't see any.

Made a rare Saturday delivery, after the rain stopped. Guy works out of town during the week.
But...It was 2 miles from grandma's house so we popped in for a visit.

On the clock today, hopefully it dries enough to be on the road tomorrow.

GOODMORNINGDIEAESEAM.....Good post Clunk, Nigel your right about the eye patch. my granddaughter had to work yesterday, but did get home by 3PM, we were loading up the truck. She brought doughnuts. we were just getting to leave when some little gal ask my wife tf she thought if her tire had enough air to get down to the gas station for air so she could get to the tire store and get it fixed. I looked at it and it was iffy so I got the bicycle pump out and started pumping, she ask if I would like her to take over and of course I said yes. Got the tire aired up. here's the bright spot. She's about 20 or so years old, and unlike most kids today she thanked me and my wife and it was sincere. I guess there's still hope for the future of America.............Or she was intimidated by the eye patch

Cloudy 30F today with the occasional snowflake.
The yard looks nice with the snow hiding some of the junk.
One of the companies we haul for has a foreman with a wrecked eye and he doesn't wear a patch, I think to gross people out. I get out of the truck to talk and cut up with him anyway.
I made some chicken pot pie soup without the crust....good too.

-2 at the beer can, 4 up at the cabin. However,,,, the wind chill takes it down to -24. I got to go up there today to try and do some stuff, at least unload my hopefully repaired snow blower. Tomorrow I have a 12 week follow up on my knee. It's doing fairly well by the way. Not too much trouble going up stairs, still not too happy going down them. Kneeling is still painful.

How about going backwards coming down the stairs. That's the way I come down the attic ladder...or any ladder.

Sunny 17F this morning. I plugged in Cornbread Red and it started just fine.
The KW started good too considering it was unplugged. The air line that controls the tag axle must've had some frozen condensate and the tag axle would not raise up....had to drive another KW. Supposed to be near 30F in the morning.
