Oh man, sorry to hear that. My dad passed from a stroke just a few years back. Not doing the greatest myself. Old age and years of neglect will do that to a body. Shouldn't of had so much fun.

Thank you for all the kind words, makes me all warm 'n' fuzzy.
I'm doing alright, regained the use of my left leg after about 6 months, no walker, no cane, legs aren't very strong, but, hey, they work. Been doing therapy on my arm and shoulder, had some good gains and a few setbacks. I dress and feed myself. I help with some of the cooking occasionally, do most of the driving and still tinker on the car, when necessary. Over all, moving forward, I shall beat this. A favorite saying when I was in the Navy, "The only easy day, was yesterday".

I'm still here on occasion. Got unvoluntarily retired April 1 (not a funny April Fool's joke), but it was just a year ahead of plan - a plan that my management was fully on board with, so a bit unhappy with them. But, the bean counters came up with a 100 person layoff, and I was easy pickings, since I had spent 6 months training my replacement.
Some reason now, everything I want to do takes 10 times longer than it should. That's not how this is supposed to work!

35 days in hospital 2 artificial knees out and have concrete now till infection clears then start over 14 years on 1 of them [just gettin broke in]
