GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM...Close to being ready to camp. Nigel I don't mind the rain, the harder it rains the more I can watch it with a tall Gin.

Sunny, almost pleasant high 80's today.
Hauled gravel then dirt....had to clean the inside of the bed with a busting bar.
Cut the front yard grass when I got home. Will relax with some good Canadian whiskey in a few.

Good Morning DieselRam....

Apple Crown..?
Don't know about hydration but Paul Harvey's 'gin raisins' help with the aches and pains.

Clunk, these hot & humid days take it outa me too!
Tuesday night after a long day seemed like every time I moved something cramped up!
More 4-H weather. Cold front mentioned in the forecast might keep it down to just 90.
The ever present chance of a thundershower is bumped up a little the next couple days.
It's that time of year when it's 75 and HUMID at sunrise. Things never really get a chance to cool down.
When you crank your truck in the morning and the trans temp is already 120*...

The solar race team is leaving this morning.
Meetings and inspections and what not till Tuesday morning, then it's GO time!
I think I got it worked out so I can have a couple days off and be there Monday & Tuesday, In Ft Worth,
leave Sunday, back Wednesday.
About 600mi out, that plus the first days race leg back.
About equal to a days shed haulin, just no trailer and no load/unload.

Sunny, humid 90F today.
Hauled asphalt today in the 2007 KW T800 and the AC was coming and going.
It has a leak. I charged it up a couple of weeks ago and it has lost pressure.
The high side slowly builds to 350psi then the engine cooling fan comes on and the pressure slowly drops to around 200psi and the fan shuts off then the high side pressure starts building again. The low side starts at 28psi, slowly drops to 10psi then rises back to 28psi. The blower fan is at top speed and the temperature setting is set for coldest the whole time.
