OK, so I cleaned all 4 battery posts thoroughly Max and the truck ran fine for ~20 hours of snow plowing.
Then this morning while plowing the alternator gauge dropped to zero like it did before I cleaned the posts (and like it did before I changed the alternator). Drove home w/ the gauge at zero (actually 8), turned it off. When I restarted truck a moment later the gauge behaved normally! Any Ideas what is going on Max...battery plates touching...voltage regulator..??
BTW the Kikland batteries are 6 yo.
