stock lift pump

I recently burned up the carter aux lift pump on my truck and now have been just using the stock pump. I think I may be, just for now, purchasing another stock pump and keeping it in the glove box...

I would check the electronics in the tranny before the added expense of a new one. The shifting problems are more often caused by a faulty solenoid and sensor. And these you can replace yourself...

Change the Governor Pressure solenoid and the sensor. This should fix the problem. I'm on my second set and my tranny is holding up well. Duckmaster

Best thing to do is use the money for the fooler for a down payment on a good aftermarket turbo. The stock turbo makes a good anchor for my duck boat. Duckmaster
