Fuel Level sending unit

OK, my fuel gauge seems to bee going haywire. Is the sending unit in the tank replaceable, or the the gauge the most likely culprit. I'm using a Fass since the lift pump took a dump, so I am not...

My Dodge dealer was sold, so I don't get my oil changes for $30 anymore. I am ready to switch to synthetic. I recieved some advice to go with the Amsoil BMK 11 instead of the 13 dual remote, due to...

Re: Lift Pump again

Dodge is telling me there isn't power to the new pump. I guess I'll pick it up and track it down. Thanks,

Lift Pump again

Cranked a little more than usual, and had my truck sputter on me a little. Hope this isn't a sign on things to come. I need to make it home today. IS the intank setup worse? I didn't have the...

Re: Lift pump - Tank or Block

I think I paid $450 for the whole setup. The worst part is getting that damn collar screwed back on the tank. I'm out of warranty. 126k miles.

Re: Lift pump - Tank or Block

It was not as big of a deal to get into the tank as most would think. I had filled up and only burned 60 miles worth of fuel. Proabably not an hours worth of time to get it out. I guess I will...

Re: Lift pump - Tank or Block

Thanks. I guess I will be looking for a future upgrade. I am installing the intank pump when I get home today. They do not sell the one on the filter housing anymore, just a conversion kit....

Lift pump - Tank or Block

Hey guys,
My lift pump failed yesterday. I Ordered the part from dodge. They asked if it was in the tank or on the block. I see nothing on the block so assume it is in the tank. Not in the...

Re: Frequent waxing a problem?

The paint on mine is pretty thin, and chiping off all over the truck. I already have swirls in the paint from washing it. Maybe a good waxing might help. As poor as this paint is I would be scared...

Not sure where in Texas you have been, but from where I have driven, not much of it is all that flat. All of central and south Texas is nothing but hills, and the the canyons, and mountains of west...

Re: Quick Off Road question (Anti-spin differential related)

Both wheels must be spinning to work as a posi. If one wheel is not, it never will! Pretty misleading, doesn't work nearly as well as my old chevrolet did.

Re: 3rd gen Dually Chassis

Just to install a fifth wheel hitch was a PITA. The steel is very thin, and the tube frame very difficult to work with. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Re: What color is your junky paint?

my mud flaps used the bolt behind the rear tire to prevent it from moving around, kinda silly looking, but not to bad. Just as long as they keep the paint on the truck.

Re: help 6 mpg

What is with the yelling? I don't think your pin weight is a problem. Sounds to me like and injector issue, or you need the reflash. I know my pin weight is only around 2k, but I think weight is...
