I may make those holes oblong. Lever is about 1-1/2 inch inside door. Oval hole you could see the lever with a penlight.

look for a worn flat spot on the two metal tranny lines rubbing together. That's where I found mine. Also check line connections on radiator. Been there, done that!

Just put 2 in my truck last week from Rock Auto. $181each + shipping. Changed balljoints and axle ujoints and rotors/brakes while there. 2wd has to be so much easier! Those universals were biotches....

Trying to figure why the transfer case ujoint flange is clocked 90* from the pinion flange. Cant change that as it's keyed in that position.
