Definitely not an upgrade for the 'uncreative', or faint of heart, but definitely worth the effort. I wish I'd taken photos of the process as I was doing it but.... I was 'in the zone' :) I hope...

I've converted my 'crystal' lenses (which were prone to blinding oncoming drivers) to Mercedes E55 HID projectors. The retrofit was time-consuming and difficult but worth the effort in light output...

Same Here. Optima Red-Tops....have them in EVERYTHING I own (except the Brute Force 750i ATV... ). NEVER had ANY problems..excellent warranty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

just thought of something... The ATS...

just thought of something... The ATS transmission I've got installed came with a 'TCM-fooler' resistor... this could be the 'low-pressure' I'm reading. Will re-test with actual gauges to confirm.

definitely injection pump. His lift pump went out while idling, luckily, and just shut the truck off. No injection pump damage, hopefully. He's ordered a BD lift pump. Will let you guys know how...

nada. Thank you for your post. I heard it directly on the injection pump with stethoscope. Didn't sound like a power-steering whine.

long extension on 3/8 Ingersoll Titanium impact gun (280lb/ft) did the trick for me. Started reinstallation by hand (a pain in the a** but doable) and torqued with torque wrench to spec.

it keeps the trans computer from 'seeing' the higher than normal pressures inside the ATS trans and going in to limp home mode. Definitely works.
