I would bet on the gov pressure sensor and solenoid. Does it also shift early from 3 to 4 if you are WOT? Because that is what my trans does when the pressure sensor is toast.

He has 2 batteries putting out 12V
You have 2 batteries putting out 12V

Its 2 ways to get the same result, but I am curious as to the AMP rating of the 6V batteries.
