I have a 2003 2500 QC SO SWD 48RE with 128000 miles, all stock. I do all my own maintenance, Oil and Filter with Amsoil, drain transm. and repl. filter every 30k. I use a fuel additive each fill up. No major repair except throttle position sensor, and water pump just recently. I pull a 10k pound 5th wheel each Winter to Gulf Shores Al. and spend Winter there. My concern is this notorious lift pump issue. So far, I've been lucky. If the worst would happen when I'm there in Alabama, I do have a Dodge dealer to go to , but I dont want that fuel tank replacement. Any one know of any other places to go to around Mobile, or even Pensacola, and what do you suggest I replace it with. Appreciate any ideas..
