I adjusted my valves today and while I had it off I painted my plastic valve cover. I am going to finish it with some silver.

what kinda paint did you use? Did you sand it first? I wanna do mine, but not sure how to go about it.

I just cleaned it with some degreaser, masked off the important stickers on the side, and started spraying. I used high heat spray paint at Ace Hardware. I don't know if it will stick or not. If it doesn't I will try scuffing it with a scouring pad and shoot it again. I did several thin coats and let it dry in the sun in between them.

Is that orange or red? I was thinking of doing the same.

It is red. I bought the silver to finish it the other day, I just need to take 30 minutes and do it.
